To continue keeping our doors open to everyone in need, last year we launched BUILDING ON HOPE, a 3-year campaign to purchase and rehab the house next door. Click below to find out how you can help.
We are always looking for individuals or groups to help with maintenance and projects around our "charming little houses on Grand."
The Center is also adding to its volunteer base through helpers with fundraising events, clerical support, marketing, and fundraising. Please contact us with ways you can help.

Since our founding in 1996, the Center for Grief, Loss and Transition's social justice commitment has been to open our doors to anyone experiencing significant loss. We have journeyed with hundreds of people going through the most difficult times in their lives by providing compassionate, professional, and accessible therapy. With the growth we've experienced over recent years however, we've outgrown our capacity.
To continue keeping our doors open to everyone in need, we are pleased to announce the launching of BUILDING ON HOPE, a three-year campaign to support the purchase and rehab of the house next door. This additional space will allow us to more than double the individuals and families we serve, and it has bigger spaces for therapy, groups, and workshops.
BUILDING ON HOPE is off to a great start. We've raised enough for a down payment. And, we have a couple of promising corporate and city funding sources lined up for next year.
But we need your help in these important ways:
• financial gifts
• furnishings
• construction assistance
• landscaping expertise
• fundraising ideas
Your contribution will ensure that anyone in the Twin Cities who has experienced tragic loss can receive immediate help. By opening your heart, we can open a second door, building on the hope and help we provide to those in need. Together we can support people who are on the hardest journey of their lives. Would you contact me today and join our campaign?
With Sincere Gratitude,
