Clinical Consultation

Grief is a universal human experience, and it's also a nearly universal issue for mental health therapists to encounter in their clinical work, regardless of their specialty. • Traumatic, prolonged and/or complicated grief
  • Loss of a child
  • Loss to suicide, homicide, or overdose
  • Grief and loss related to trauma
  • Chronic illness
  • Serious illness
  • Death and dying
  • Ambiguous loss (due to dementia, serious and persistent mental illness of a loved one, etc.)
  • Loss of a pregnancy, sibling, friend, pet or other disenfranchised losses
  • Existential grief
  • Climate grief
  • Instituational grief
  • Caring for oneself when working professionally with grief
